Meet the founders
In January 2020, two life-long friends, Elliott and Lawrence, set out to shake up the world of life sciences by creating ARTO. The dynamic spark of their friendship is what gives ARTO its infectious energy.
A glimpse into our story
Where it all began…
Elliot and Lawrence first met when they were three. Ask them (or their families) and they’ll say a future in business together was inevitable.
In fact, the duo first started plotting a joint business venture while in their sixth form canteen. Back then, they didn’t know what kind of company it was going to be, but they always knew it would be something they built together. They’re now living their childhood dream and loving every minute of creating their own story.
The idea for ARTO developed as they were rising through the ranks together at a global talent agency. They saw a way to take their energy and enthusiasm, and channel it into creating a niche and dynamic hiring experience for the life sciences sector around the world.
With very complimentary skills, they’re both advocates of adding individual flair to the industry. They created ARTO to counteract the trend for making hiring talent a robotic process.
Launching on the cusp of pandemic certainly put their theory to the test. But by the second year in business ARTO had 20 staff and a fast-growing community of clients and candidates.

Meet the senior team




Drawing on extensive recruitment experience, Megan combines market insight with a passion for building communities that fuel client growth. Having successfully partnered with clients on senior hires and complex multi-hire projects, Megan has now launched ARTO’s first dedicated Customer Success function, driving initiatives that enhance client loyalty, unlock new opportunities, and create high-impact experiences that drive long-term value.


With four years of cross-continental experience, Anna notably led ARTO's whole European Function, before now being entrusted to establish a Medical Affairs practice in the US. Her speed and precision are powered by a global network and deep market insight.
Clients value Anna’s ability to move fast, engage top-tier talent, and act as a trusted advisor on strategic hiring. Personally driven by a connection to rare disease, she brings exceptional commitment to every partnership and focused on making an impact in whatever way possible.




In this role, Danniella combines expertise in talent management with a deep understanding of the recruitment industry to drive both individual consultant success and organisational growth. Danniella is responsible for identifying top recruitment talent, designing comprehensive development programs, and implementing coaching strategies that enhance consultant performance and career progression.
Danniella's approach to talent development emphasises both technical recruitment skills and professional growth, ensuring ARTO Talent's consultants are equipped to deliver exceptional results for clients while building rewarding careers in the recruitment field.

William leads the production of ARTO’s two flagship podcast series, Leading Beyond the Lab and Making It in Manufacturing, overseeing it's end-to-end production. His strong creative direction and attention to detail have helped position the podcasts as standout thought leadership platforms in the industry.
Driven by a deep understanding of the sector and a results-first mindset, William plays a key role in elevating ARTO’s brand presence and audience engagement across digital channels.

With a background in high performance, Éoin has built a reputation for scaling niche teams quickly and precisely, achieving nomination for the 2024 Director’s Award and is part of ARTO’s Pathway to Leadership team. His approach is shaped by a deep commitment to continuous improvement combined with trusted counsel and sharp market insight.
